To help keep all pupils safe, please ensure the school has up-to-date information about any allergies your child may have. Accurate allergy information enables us to put appropriate support plans in place, train staff effectively, and respond quickly in an emergency. We all have a part to play in creating a safe environment, including following our nut-aware policy and being mindful of the food brought into school. If your child has an allergy, please contact the school or update their details via Arbor. Be Allergy Aware Posters for AAW25

Discover Penbridge School at our Open Events

October 6, 2026 02:28pm

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you'll make. That's why at Penbridge School, we're proud to provide an environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their best and develop a lifelong love for learning.

We'd love to warmly invite prospective parents and carers to attend one of our upcoming Open Events to see what makes Penbridge such a special place where children thrive.

  • Penbridge Infant School: Thursday 15th October, at 4:30pm

  • Penbridge Junior School: Tuesday 3rd November, at 5pm

Our six core values:

Here at Penbridge, everything we do is united by six core values, reflecting a passionate commitment to every learner being unique:

  • Show respect

  • Be kind

  • Aim high

  • Be resilient

  • Be independent

  • Work well with others

Our values ground an ethos of high expectations, so every child can flourish, regardless of their background or ability. Our pupils are supported in becoming independent learners who take risks and mistakes as valuable opportunities for growth. We aim to make learning irresistible, so every child comes to school happy and excited to learn. Through our engaging curriculum, we foster curiosity and inspire children to explore new ideas.

Proud to be an accredited Advanced Thinking School:

As part of Thinking Schools Academy Trust, we're uniquely positioned in Portsmouth as having Advanced Thinking Schools status by the University of Exeter. This means we equip children with 'Thinking Tools' so they can reflect on their learning and feel fully prepared for life beyond school. One of the ways we do this is thanks to our school dog, Kevin, who provide cognitive, social, emotional and physical benefits to our pupils.

How can I discover more about Penbridge School?

Our Open Events are the perfect opportunities for you to meet our pupils, tour our classroom and see what topics children enjoy. You'll also be able to try some food from our lunch menu and speak with our friendly staff team.
